Some feelings can be invisible
It’s lifting others up when you’re feeling down.
It’s helping someone find their way while feeling totally lost,
It’s texting someone “I’m okay” when you’re anything but okay
It’s telling others that everything is going to be alright while feeling totally hopeless and alone.
It’s going to school and trying to excel in everything you do, but falling apart when you’re back inside your room
It’s being the most entertaining person in the room while feeling completely empty inside
It’s to act confident when your self-esteem is down the drain
It’s pretending to be okay, and reaching said expectations while feeling tired and deep down hurting.
It’s being understanding while beating yourself up over every mistake you’ve ever made
It’s offering others a helping hand while feeling like a burden
Some people can’t sleep, others stay in bed all-day
Some people have no appetite, others overeat
Some people cry often, others feel numb
Some people want to talk, others want to be left alone
Just because someone caries it well doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy
